Occupation
Dr. Vivek Bhardwaj completed a 3-year residency in the Orthopedic Department at SMIMER Medical College, Surat. During this time, he was actively involved in managing various orthopedic cases, including complex trauma care, performing arthroscopies, conducting joint replacement surgeries (arthroplasty), and correcting deformities. His residency provided extensive exposure to a wide range of orthopedic procedures, equipping him with the skills and confidence to handle even the most challenging cases. This experience was pivotal in developing his proficiency in surgical techniques and patient management, laying a strong foundation for his career in orthopedics.
Internship
Following his UG, Dr. Vivek Bhardwaj completed a 1-year rotating internship at GMCS Surat. This internship allowed him to rotate through different departments, gaining a well-rounded experience across various aspects of orthopedic care. He had the opportunity to work closely with senior orthopedic surgeons, where he further refined his surgical skills, deepened his understanding of orthopedic pathologies, and learned the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in patient care. The internship also provided him with valuable insights into the diagnosis and management of a wide array of orthopedic conditions, from common fractures to more complex congenital deformities.
